A golf outing with a few golf buddies to celebrate the independence day in WI.
Started Geneva National - Lee Trevino on 7/3. Had dinner at "getaway" restaurant in Lake Como before settling down at stayed holiday Inn. Played Guan-Dan for the night.
7/4: rained in the morning while we were heading to the Lawsonia resor. Rain stopper while we played at the Links course. Then headed to the Hotel Meads at Wisconsin Rapids for 2 nights. Had a chines buffet in town for dinner, and had drink with a few friends before sleep.
7/5: went to Sandy Valley resort for a tour and preview after changed the plan due to the weather. The resort is beautiful and most people are attracted and like to have full experience to enjoy this unique resort and golf courses with extended stay within the resort later.
We were scheduled to play at Mammoth Dune course at noon. But Rescheduled to next day on a differen course (sedges) in the morning due to the bad weather. Then changed mind again during the tour and decided to take a raincheck (with a gift) and find another time to come back again.
After wandering around the resort for 2-3 hours, headed back to hotel for a short rest and went for an early dinner at a sport bar restaurant. Then had pickball ball and card game( Guan-Dan) and drink for the evening.
7/6: headed to Lake Arrowhead gc using the vouchers for a round of golf and headed home after a late lunch to end the outing
